I found this little guy in my shoe in my bedroom. I have no idea what it is, but it looks like a baby lizard. Lucky I had that CD thingie to capture it.
*No animals or insects were harmed in the making of this picture. After taking the photo, I set him free outside my door ... so he's probably back in my room right now.

that's geography right there.
it is a lizard - there are a lot of lizard species in south africa but i don't know which this is. on a global scale, and even more so on a continental scale, south africa has a fairly large reptile count. tell me, have you seen any other interesting fauna? take photos! (gphy 207: biogeography - everyone should take it) maybe it's endangered - and he/she picked YOUR shoe, you're a lucky guy bk. maybe he/she was hunting down some heat cause it's winter... it felt the call of the space heater.
