I'm just getting ready to head out to the launch of 28 in South Africa. I'll post the photos tonight.
Oh, and today was the first meeting of the weekly creative writing group I'm facilitating in Hillbrow. I think it went pretty well for the first "class", but I kind of feel like I don't know what the hell I'm doing.
I'll post more soon.

I can identify with the "who am I to think I can teach?" feeling. My guess is it's going well. :)
Currently dismayed that no paperback copies of 28 seem to be available, but I can't justify spending $40 on a hardcover. Library, here I come...
Convey my congratulations to Stephanie.
And convey them to yourself on your first day's teaching. Was it at all fun?
Em - I can tell you, it's definitely worth the trip to the library.
It's available in soft cover in SA ... do you want me to pick you up a copy and mail it? The SA cover isn't as pretty as the Canadian one, though.
Bert - will do re: Stephanie. And yes, it was kind of fun, but it may be difficult because the participants (there were only 6 of them) seem to be at very different levels.
FYI, the book seems to be down to $23 now and apparently the paper back is due next spring.
